What We're Doing
We've been campaigning for a green and peaceful future for almost 50 years — and we're not stopping now. It's time to rise up like never before and fight for our climate and communities.
We defend the natural world and promote peace by investigating, exposing, and confronting environmental abuse, championing environmentally responsible solutions, and advocating for the rights and well-being of all people.
We take action only where we and our supporters can make the biggest impact, where people’s lives are most affected, and where environmental risks are most dire.

Protect the Oceans
Planet Earth is mostly ocean. Water covers over 70% of the planet's surface. The seas harbour incredible wildlife, provide food for billions and help balance our climate. They are the source of all life on earth, and every day, they continue to nurture us.
We need to protect our oceans because without them life on Earth would not – and cannot – exist. -
Climate Emergency
We need to put people above the fossil fuel industry and truly act on climate.
We’re facing extreme weather events, catastrophic loss of wildlife and a crisis over future access to freshwater and food.
Catastrophic climate change can only be avoided if nations rapidly cut their greenhouse gas emissions, keep the fossils in the ground and change the current system for how we use the resources of our planet. -
Protecting Forests
Forests are crucial for the health and well-being of people, wildlife and our planet. Real forest is so much more than just trees. They’re home to roughly two-thirds of all land-dwelling plant and animal species, critical lifelines for communities big and small, and one of the last lines of defense against catastrophic climate change.
